This rowing across the Atlantic ocean isn’t just about sport. Indeed, Dominique is currently intervening in 8 schools of “Montfort Communauté” in Brittany to discuss ocean pollution. Educational kits have been created by some teachers from the school of Talensac (where Dominique comes from) for different levels of classes.

This content is public and can be followed only by willing schools. Dominique proposes to meet the students before his departure, scheduled at the beginning of January.
The objective of these interventions is to make the future generation understand the environment around them, not only on earth : this opens the eyes of children on the climate emergency.
During his crossing, Dominique can keep in touch with the students thanks to social networks or even the website.
After this experience, Dominique wil debrief with the volunteer schools about what he has experimented.

Moreover, to have a bit of a company on the water, Dominique is going to be joined by a mascot. It will be given by a school before his departure, and Dominique will be in charge of giving it to a school in Martinique.
